Appointment cancellation and rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or rearrange your home nursing visit, please give us at least 24 hours' notice so our registered nurses can adjust their travel schedules. To change your booking or discuss an urgent amendment, call us directly.

Cancellation Policy

At Eden Wound Care & Diabetic Support, we plan our nursing schedule carefully to make sure every client receives timely, dedicated care. When an appointment is cancelled with little or no notice, we can rarely offer that time to another client who may need it. This policy sets out what to expect if you need to cancel or reschedule a visit.

Notice period
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations with 24 hours' notice or more
No charge applies. Simply contact us as early as possible so we can offer the slot to another client or adjust our schedule.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice
A cancellation fee may apply, at our discretion, reflecting the time reserved for your visit. As a guide, this is typically 50% of the service price, though this may be waived in genuine emergencies (see below).

Missed appointments ("no-shows")
If a nurse arrives for a scheduled visit and is unable to gain access, or the client is not available, without prior notice, the full service price will apply.

Emergencies and exceptional circumstances
We understand that health emergencies, hospital admissions, and unforeseen events happen. If you need to cancel due to a genuine emergency, please let us know as soon as you can — we will always treat these situations with flexibility and understanding, and fees may be waived on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations by Eden
On rare occasions, we may need to cancel or reschedule a visit (for example, due to nurse illness or unforeseen circumstances). Where possible, we will give you as much notice as we can and will work with you to arrange the next available appointment. No charge will apply in this case.
